Image upscaling questions
What does 4K mean here?
The image is enlarged to 4K resolution (2160p), about four times the pixels of a 1080p image, with detail reconstructed by AI.
How much does it cost?
Each upscale uses 4 credits. If something goes wrong, the credits are refunded automatically.
Does upscaling change the image?
It keeps the composition and colours and adds finer detail, so faces and textures come out sharper. It does not repaint the scene.
Can I upscale an image with a transparent background?
Upscale first, then remove the background. The upscaler does not keep transparency, so running it on a cut-out would fill the empty area.
Is my original image changed?
No. The upscaled version is saved as a new image in your library and the original stays as it was.
